  • 1 onion, chopped

  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 4 sausages (meat only)

  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped

  • 4 cups of short pasta (penne, fusilli, etc.)

  • 2 cups chicken broth

  • 1 can (398 ml) diced tomatoes with their juice

  • 1 can (398 ml) tomato sauce

  • ½ cup 15% cream

  • 1 cup Louis d'Or cheese, grated

  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped

  • Aged cheddar for garnish

  • Salt and pepper, to taste
